Mohit’s mother always said, because of his inquisitive nature Mohit would someday land himself in a heap of trouble. Mohit and his wife Monica had just moved to Mumbai, when he came across his old friend Glen, the one whom his father had forbidden Mohit to meet or stay in touch with. Because, Mohit’s father believed Glen was the harbinger of trouble in his son’s life. Meeting after years, Glen took Mohit on a ride to Paradise Tower. And that’s where the trouble began !

The Inquisitive by Hemant Kulkarni is a very thrilling story. With a character like Mohit, who is more inquisitive than a little kid, there’s always trouble on the next page, ready to pull Mohit into a place of no return. The pace was a little on and off. Albeit the whole story made me curious to find what’s going to happen next, the climax didn’t match my expectation. Even though the story ended on a happy note it felt as if the mystery wasn’t solved, atleast that’s what I felt. Each character was beautifully crafted, the air of mystery was always present throughout the story. The language used, writing style, narration, everything was good. I liked how the relationship between a father and son and the importance of family was shown. Overall, it was indeed a thrilling read.
