Cricket ! This game means life to a lot of people and it definitely holds true for the Author. This book is about three friends who love watching, playing and talking cricket so much that they wanted to make their living in this game. The passion with which this book is written is inspiring ! The love and regard for this game is clearly visible in this story.

Starting from how our protagonist (the Author) got introduced to this game as a kid, then grew up loving it more and more. A lot of moments in the book were so adorable and awe-worthy that you’ll feel the love for Cricket. Isn’t it obvious that you’ll give your best to be with the one you love, no matter what the consequence is ? Well, that’s what our dear protagonist did. The game, the friendship between these three youngsters, their life, everything has been beautifully described. Since this is an autobiography, the reference to the real game made it even more realistic to read. I might not be a cricket buff, but reading about someone so enthusiastic about something is really amusing. The Author has done a splendid job with the writing style, narration and pace of the story, albeit due to vivid descriptions few parts felt kind of dragged, the characters were nice and so was the story. Overall this was a delightful read !
