Vagh Pratap Singh aka Captain. An extraordinary and charming conman. Disguised as an Art Professor Mr. Albert Rueben he was hunting down the famous potrait The Poppy Flowers by Vincent Van Gogh. This book is all about the thrilling journey the Captain is going to embark upon, his past and how he ended up as a conman.

The Heist Artist by Vish Dhamija is utterly thrilling. The planning and plotting to steal the painting, the cat and mouse chase, the twists and turns will keep you hooked to the book till the end. The pace of the narration and the writing style was top notch and humour parts were absolutely witty. The sequence of the events were nicely linked, the past and present connection weren’t confusing at all.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book, but some parts were kind of stretched with excess description and the ending part was a bit cold compared to the thrill in the rest of the book.
